Governance

Phase 1 of the SANParks Vision 2040 project will be led by a Project Steering Committee (PSC) consisting of the Chairs of the Board and Board Committees and members of EXCO. The Project Management Team will report to the PSC.

Phase 2 and the operationalisation of the strategic direction by developing the organisation that can deliver on the mandate and vision will be led by EXCO (Steering Committee). Strategic decisions will be made by the Board.

Phases 1 and 2 will be coordinated operationally by the Project Manager with the support of the Operational Project Team, reporting to the PSC in Phase 1 and to EXCO during Phase 2. The PSC will provide overall guidance.
